This week’s Throwback Thursday takes us back to one of our favourite transformations – a garage conversion with a twist. Rather than simply repurposing the space, we completely opened it up and reimagined it as a modern, functional extension of the home.

What We Delivered

  • ✅ Removed the original garage door and replaced it with a large window to maximise natural light
  • ✅ Internal walls taken down and supported with structural steelwork to create an open-plan layout
  • ✅ Added a fully functional utility room – ideal for busy households
  • ✅ Installed new electrics and heating, ensuring the space is comfortable and energy-efficient
  • ✅ Full plastering throughout for a smooth, modern finish
  • ✅ Fitted new skirtings, architraves, and internal doors with care and precision
  • ✅ Replaced all external cladding for a fresh, clean exterior
  • ✅ Finished with a professional render to tie the new look together

The Result

The original garage space is now completely unrecognisable – transformed into a bright, welcoming living area that flows seamlessly with the rest of the home. From the external upgrade to the internal layout, every detail was considered to add both value and usability.
