Safe, Certified,
Professional
When changing a property layout, safety and structural integrity are everything. We handle all alterations in line with engineering specifications and building control standards — from single wall removals to complex multi-structural projects.
Safe, Structural,
Done Right
Structural alterations are among the most technically demanding work in any home — and the most important to get right. At Gray's Signature Builds, we handle all structural work in full compliance with engineering calculations and building control requirements, giving you total confidence in the safety of every alteration.
From load-bearing wall removals and RSJ installations to chimney breast removals and loft structural work, we manage every stage of the process — including liaising with structural engineers and building inspectors on your behalf.
We work across the entire North East, with structural projects completed in Newcastle, Sunderland, Gateshead, Durham, Northumberland, and beyond.
"Structural work isn't visible once it's done — but it matters more than almost anything else. We do it properly, every time, because your family's safety depends on it."Gray's Signature Builds

Our Installation Process
We visit your property, assess the scope of structural work, and provide a clear, itemised quote — including any engineer fees where applicable.
For notifiable works, we arrange a structural engineer to produce calculations and drawings. We manage this process on your behalf.
We submit the required building control application and arrange for inspections at the correct stages throughout the work.
The structural alterations are carried out safely and precisely — temporary supports erected, work completed to spec, and all structural elements correctly installed.
Floors, walls, and ceilings are reinstated neatly after structural work. We leave the property tidy and ready for decoration.
A final building control inspection is carried out and a completion certificate issued — essential documentation for your property records.
