These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Gray’s Signature Builds websites (the “Site”) and set out the legal terms between you and Gray’s Signature Builds (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Site you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About us
Gray’s Signature Builds is a building services company operating in the North East of England. The Site is provided for information only and does not itself form any contract for building works, estimates or professional services unless confirmed in a separate written agreement.
2. Use of the Site
The Site is for lawful, personal or business information purposes only. You must not use the Site for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
You must not attempt to interfere with the Site’s operation, upload viruses, or otherwise compromise security.
We may restrict, suspend or terminate access to the Site at any time, without notice, for any reason.
3. No contract formed via the Site
Content on the Site (including text, images, price ranges, project descriptions and case studies) is for general information only. It does not constitute an offer, quotation or contractual commitment.
Any estimate, quote or order will only form a binding contract once we provide a written acceptance or a formal service contract has been signed by both parties.
4. Accuracy of information & changes
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the Site content is accurate and up to date but do not warrant completeness, accuracy or suitability for any particular purpose.
We may change or remove content (including these Terms and linked policies) at any time without notice. The “Effective date” at the top shows when these Terms were last updated.
5. Intellectual property
All content on the Site (text, graphics, logos, images, videos, documents, layout and design) is owned or licensed by us and is protected by copyright, database rights and other intellectual property laws.
You may view and download material for your personal, non-commercial use only. Any other copying, distribution, modification, republication or commercial use is prohibited without our prior written permission.
6. User-submitted content & enquiries
If you submit information via contact forms, email or other channels (including sketches, documents or images), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that information for the purpose of responding to your enquiry and providing services.
Do not send sensitive personal data (special category data) through contact forms. If you do, we may delete it and ask you to provide it by a secure channel.
We may retain contact form messages in accordance with our retention policy stated in the Privacy Policy.
7. Third-party links & embedded content
The Site may link to or embed third-party websites, tools or content. These links are for convenience only; we do not control third-party sites and accept no responsibility for their content, privacy practices or availability.
If you follow a link to a third-party site you do so at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gray’s Signature Builds and its officers, employees, agents and suppliers exclude liability for:
indirect, special or consequential losses (including loss of profits, loss of business, depletion of goodwill, or loss of data); and
any loss arising from access to or inability to access the Site.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our aggregate liability for direct losses arising from or in connection with the Site will be limited to £5,000 (five thousand pounds) or the total sums paid to us in the previous 12 months for the specific service in question, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, or other liability which cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold us harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, losses, costs and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
11. Termination & suspension
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site and any services for any reason (including suspected breach of these Terms) without liability to you. On termination, any rights you have to use Site content are revoked.
12. Privacy & data protection

13. Complaints procedure
If you have a complaint about the Site or our services, please email info@grayssignaturebuilds.co.uk and we will aim to respond promptly. If the matter cannot be resolved you may refer the issue to the relevant regulatory authority (for privacy complaints, the ICO).
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or regulator to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision will be severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
15. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy, represent the entire agreement between you and Gray’s Signature Builds in relation to your use of the Site and supersede all prior agreements and communications.
16. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
