Where the Home Gathers

This Cramlington kitchen extension was never meant to be just a bigger room. The client wanted a space that earned its place at the heart of the home — somewhere you'd naturally gather to cook, eat, work, and host. Everything we delivered was aimed squarely at that goal.

We opened up the rear of the property with structural steelwork to create one flowing kitchen-dining area, then added a large rooflight overhead to pull natural light deep into the plan. Electrics and plumbing were overhauled from the ground up to support a high-end kitchen install, and we laid underfloor heating beneath herringbone-effect flooring so the room feels warm from toes up on a cold Northumberland morning.

The kitchen itself is where the design ambition really shows. Deep navy cabinetry with brushed gold hardware anchors the room, a quartz waterfall island with integrated hob lets the cook stay part of the conversation, and a hidden utility space keeps the mess where it belongs — out of sight. Every element was chosen to sit together and wear well over years, not just look good in photos.
