Project Overview

This completed loft conversion in South Shields is a brilliant example of how much value can be added by extending upward. For this growing family, we delivered a full-scale transformation by converting unused attic space into two bright and spacious bedrooms on the third floor — all finished to a high standard from top to bottom.

The Vision

  • ✅ Structural steelwork and joists: Installed to support the new floor level and dormer.
  • ✅ New staircase installation: Seamlessly connected the third floor to the rest of the home, maintaining flow and accessibility.
  • ✅ Partition walls and layout: Carefully designed to create two generous bedrooms without compromising on light or storage.
  • ✅ Roof windows (Velux-style): Installed to the front for extra daylight and ventilation.
  • ✅ Full electrical and plumbing installation: New sockets, lighting, radiators, and future en suite potential.
  • ✅ Plastering and decorating: Clean finishes and paint-ready walls and ceilings.
  • ✅ Joinery and finishings: Skirtings, architraves, doors, and trims fitted with attention to detail.

The Result
