This was a whole-house job in Cresswell, not a single room. The bungalow was re-roofed, rendered from top to bottom, extended at the back with a glazed gable, and the garden was rebuilt to match.
The point of taking on the lot at once is that everything lines up. A new roof on its own leaves old render looking tired. A smart extension against a worn frontage looks bolted on. Doing the roof, the render, the garage conversion and the extension in one go means the finished house reads as one house, not a timeline of fixes.
Inside, the back opened up into a vaulted ceiling under the gable glazing, with the garden pulled right up to the glass through the new sleeper beds and lawn.
